Using our Search Engine:

• Global HEP Search allows you to search across multiple HEP-related web servers at once. The web servers that are included in the search are listed on the Global HEP Search page and are astericked (*).

  If you would prefer to search a particular web server, you may do so by clicking on the name of the site you want to search.

• Searching HEPIC (the web site you're at) is different from Global HEP Search. If you want to search information on this web server only, you want to go to the HEPIC Search page. This search will help you find local information - information that is contained right here on HEPIC. You might wish to search HEPIC, for instance, if you are looking for someone's email address, but you only know the acronym for an institution. Your search on that acronym will point you to the correct page of the HEP Virtual Phonebook, which will lead you to the email address you are seeking.
