Biography for David Quarrie
David Quarrie is a Staff Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley
National Laboratory. His initial training was as a experimental high
energy physicist working on the CERN ISR, but he has focussed on
computing within HEP since then, branching out from online data
acquisition systems to more global computing infrastructure
problems. His current major responsibility is as Project Computing
Engineer for the BaBar experiment at the SLAC B-Factory. His
particular research interests are in distributed object oriented
applications, object oriented databases and graphics.
