B.2 - Data Access Software
This includes topics on data spooling, archiving-restoring data, parallel
I/O, mapping files and data sets to facilitate access. We expect to hear
progress reports on projects such as CERN's FATMEN and Fermilab's Computing
for Analysis Project (CAP) as well as other initiatives designed to
facilitate and organize access to data. We expect to hear arguments for and
against an "object-oriented" approach to data mapping and access.
